History

Pat moved here in 1979 and has been feeding people ever since. Pat's House of Food, located on 60 acres in the Mojave desert, provides balanced nutritional support for diners with diverse needs. Individualized, portioned, labeled meals and snacks are prepared, packaged, and stored at customers' homes using the Sous Vide method and traditional ovens and stovetops as needed. Our diners especially enjoy our baking in their homes because along with appealing presentations and delicious flavors, the fragrance of baking is a pleasure.

The photograph below shows one of the immersion heaters used to cook food. Notice the rack underneath the pot protecting the countertop.
